Why incense beads work as a corporate gift
A good corporate gift is easy to carry, easy to explain and unlikely to cause offense. Incense beads fit that brief better than most scented products. A bracelet or sachet set weighs a few dozen grams, ships flat, needs no battery and no flame, and belongs to a long Chinese tradition of fragrant wood. The recipient can wear it, keep it in a drawer or hang it in a car. For companies that do business with Asian partners, it also carries cultural weight without being showy.
The program is aimed at purchasing teams, gift agencies and brand managers who need a defined quantity, a branded presentation and a delivery date that holds. The desk coordinates partner workshops, box makers and printers in one schedule, so you deal with a single point of contact instead of three suppliers.
Choosing the gift format
| Format | What is in the box | Typical occasion | Branding options |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bracelet and sachet set | One 8 mm bracelet, a cloth sachet with incense powder or chips, card | Year-end, client thank-you | Box sleeve, card, sachet label |
| Stick and pill gift box | Bamboo-stick or coreless sticks, incense pills, optional holder | Festival gifts, executive gifts | Box print, insert, ribbon |
| Engraved tablet | Pressed incense tablet, 30-50 mm, 3-6 mm thick, with cord or tassel | Event giveaway, conference | Intaglio logo or name on the tablet |
| Bracelet only, pouched | One bracelet in foil pouch and cloth bag | Large-volume giveaways | Bag print, card |
Specifications are on the product pages for the bracelet and sachet set, the incense stick and pill gift box and the incense tablet pendant.
Engraving on tablets
Tablets are pressed from incense paste in a mold and the logo is cut in intaglio, meaning sunk below the surface, which holds up better than raised relief when the tablet is handled. Simple line logos work best: fine gradients and tiny text fill in when the paste is pressed. The desk asks for a vector file, makes a mold sample and sends photos before bulk pressing. A new mold adds a sample round, so engraved programs start with the 15-25 days sample window rather than the shorter stock window.
Cards, boxes and the details that make a gift
- Card. A printed card with a short note on the material and a care line: keep sealed, away from heat and sun.
- Box. Rigid, kraft or sleeve boxes with a foam or paper insert. See packaging and gift boxes.
- Language. Cards can be printed in several languages for multi-country distribution.
- Personal touch. Name tags or tablet engraving for senior recipients.
Planning the lead time backwards
Seasonal gifts fail on calendars more than on quality. A workable plan starts from the date the gift must be in your hands and counts back.
- Transit: courier 3-7 days, air 5-10 days, sea about 15-25 days to the US West Coast or 30-45 days to Europe.
- Pre-shipment inspection and packing: a few working days.
- Batch production: commonly 25-40 days after sample and artwork approval; custom ancient formulas 40-60 days, because hand rolling and drying take 7-10 days.
- Sample round and artwork approval: 5-10 working days for stock, 15-25 days with engraving or a custom formula.
For a December sea delivery to Europe, orders therefore need to be confirmed well before the end of summer. These are typical ranges, confirmed in writing for each program. See MOQ and lead time and logistics.
Illustrative example
An illustrative, anonymous case: a professional services firm wanted 600 year-end gifts for clients in three countries. It selected the bracelet and sachet set in a branded sleeve box with a bilingual card. The sample was approved in two rounds, production ran about five weeks, and the shipment went by air in two lots, split by destination to keep customs paperwork simple.
Ordering notes
Gift programs typically start at about 300 sets per design, with the best box and print efficiency from about 500-1,000 and above. Stock bracelets can begin from 50-200 pieces if branding is limited to a card. Quantities, box type and delivery date go into the quote form, and the desk replies with a schedule and a list of the documents that will travel with the goods. Mixed formats in one order, for example tablets for an event and boxed sets for clients, are normal and are inspected together.
